Clinician & Founder - Addiction Specialist
Gideon de Wit
Gideon is the founder of Recovery From Home and the creator of the Root Cause Indicator - a validated 12-dimension psychometric framework that underpins the entire Pocket Power clinical model. With over 30 years of experience and more than 2,500 patients treated, he brings a depth of clinical insight that goes far beyond conventional addiction counselling.
His approach is built on a fundamental belief: that addiction is never the problem - it is always a symptom. The real work is identifying and addressing the underlying root cause. Every element of the Pocket Power program is designed around this principle.
